Example 2 - FAULT-Retrieve-Alarm 11
Releases 3 and Later
The preceding report shows no active alarm conditions, but three status
conditions are shown (near-end activities or an abnormal and two near-end
activities) in the FT-2000 network element. The greatest severity condition
appears first and the least severity condition appears last. Equal severity
conditions are listed chronologically, starting with the most recent at the top of the
group listing.
The fields of the report are described below:
Alarm
Level
- Shows the alarm and status level with the greatest severity to the
least severity. Highest alarm level also corresponds to associated
user panel LED. If no LEDs are lit at the user panel (no active
alarms), then an output status message is shown.
Alarm level/status condition will be one or more of the following:
CR (critical alarm)
MJ (major alarm)
MN (minor alarm)
ABN (abnormal status)
NE ACTY (near-end activity status)
The FE ACTY LED on the user panel and the CIT only refers to
activity at the far end and will not be reflected in this CIT report.
