Example 46 - CONFIGURATION-Retrieve-Squelch Map-STS3 11

The above report shows the STS-3 level squelch map that exists in the FT-2000
add/drop-rings terminal. Examples of cross-connections and additional
information are provided in Volume I, Section 8. The fields of the report are
described below:
Source/
Destination
- Shows the target identifier (TID) and may be either the
source node or the destination node. A dash is shown
when a tributary is not cross-connected. A question mark
(?) is shown when a tributary is cross-connected to a null
(no) source/destination TID. An asterisk is shown for
invalid TID/NID pairs.
NID - Shows the node ID from 0 to 15 of the squelch map. A
dash is shown when the tributary is not cross-connected.
A question mark is shown when a tributary is
cross-connected to an incorrect source or destination TID.
West - Shows the STS-3 tributary address (line direction and
tributary).
East - Shows the STS-3 tributary address (line direction and
tributary).
