Craft Interface Terminal Usage
11-2 Issue 8.0 July 2002
CPro-2000 is typically used by centralized work center personnel (operations
systems) or maintenance personnel to analyze, provision, cross-connect, and test
the network. If trouble is found, it is localized to a network element, then repair
personnel are dispatched to complete the trouble clearing activity.
CPro-2000 is documented in 190-523-101,
CPro-2000 User Manual
.The
features are described in the manual along with procedures for using them.
Specific procedures for network elements are documented in the appendixes. For
example, Appendix C provides a cross-reference list of commands for the
FT-2000 OC-48 Add/Drop-Rings Terminal. Also supported is a cross-reference
table of Operation and Maintenance tasks (Table 11-1) which lists the procedures
that have been identified where CPro-2000 could be used. And in Appendix D,
Script Files are very helpful in setting up remote access to network elements in
different configurations.
