This report lists all network elements (NEs) in the maintenance subnetwork (limit
of 64 network elements). The NEs above the dashed line are in the local ring
arranged in a West-to-East sequence. And below the dashed line, all other NEs
are accessible via DCC channels (both OC-48 and OC3) and/or intra-office LANs
(IAO-LANs). The report shows that the local ring network is complete (DCC
continuity is good). An incomplete/open ring network is indicated by FAIL in the
DCC Status column. The fields of the report are described below:
TID - Shows the target identifier assigned to the node (up to 20
characters).
DCC Status - Shows either good or FAIL for the data communications channel
(DCC) between the local network element and the remote network
element.
Product Type - Shows the listed network element as FT-2000, DDM-OC3
(DDM-2000 OC-3), DDM-OC12 (DDM-2000 OC-12), DACS IV
(DACS IV-2000), SLC

(unknown, foreign, and all others).
DSNE - Shows if this network element is serving as the directory service
network element (DSNE) in the subnetwork.
ASNE - Shows if this network element is serving as an alarm server network
element (ASNE) in the subnetwork.
Alarm Group - Shows a value from zero to 255 where the value represents a
SONET maintenance sub-branch (SMSB) alarm group of network
elements that exchange alarm information. A zero (0) means no
remote alarm information is exchanged.
