The fields of the report are described below:
Access
Port
- Shows a specific operations interface (physical port) for which
the status is being displayed.
Channel - Shows a virtual channel (vc) associated with the Access Port.
For dte and dce ports, a blank (" ") is always reported. For the
dcc port, virtual channel 1 through 8 is reported. For the x.25
port, the permanent virtual channel (pvc) 1 or 2 and the switched
virtual channels (svc) from 1 through 6.
Port
Type/ OS
Type
- Shows how a given port is operating; for example, the dce and
dte ports are either "cit" or "tl1." All virtual channels of the x.25
port are"maintenance," "memry-admin," "cmd-resp," or "other."
The dcc port,virtual channel 0, is the "cit" and virtual channels 1
through 8 are either "maintenance," "memry-admin," "cmd-resp,"
or "other." A dash (—) means that no user is currently logged in
to the port.
TL1
Calling
Address/
GNE TID
- Shows the calling address the user entered as part of the x.25
dial string and is reported for x.25 virtual channels only or for
DCC virtual channels (vc 1 through 8) for the gateway network
element (GNE) at the time of the report. The GNE TID on the
report may not be current due to some provisioning after logging
into the GNE. (The GNE routes TL1 alarm messages over the
X.25 port to the OSs.) For all other ports (and associated virtual
channels), this parameter is reported as a blank (" ").
Active
User
- Shows the current login of the user. A dash (—) indicates the
user is not currently logged in on the port/(virtual channel).
