The Description parameter is the text string associated with the
selected miscellaneous discrete environmental input point. It is a
character string of up to 26 characters, where the characters are
letters, digits, or spaces. It is used to identify the point in the
Retrieve-History and Retrieve-Alarm (and Status)
reports. In Release 5, the number 1, 2, 3, and 4 inputs are reserved
for the following alarms from an FT-Lightwave Booster Amplifier.
CONFIGURATION-Set-Date (TL1 = ED-DAT): This input sets the network
element clock date and time and provisions automatic daylight savings
time processing.
The Date parameter sets the current date in the network element
clock. It is entered in the form YY-MM-DD where:
The Hours parameter sets the hour (0 to 23) in the network element
clock. A value of "zero" may be entered as "0", "0", or "+0". These
entries are treated as the same value.
The Minutes parameter sets the minute (0 to 59) in the network
element clock. A value of "zero" may be entered as "0", "0", or "+0".
These entries are treated as the same value.
The Seconds parameter sets the second (0 to 59) in the network
element clock. A value of "zero" may be entered as "0", "0", or "+0".
These entries are treated as the same value.
The Standard Time Zone parameter is the 3-letter string (for
example, EST, MST) that is indicated as part of the date and time
stamp in command responses when Standard Time is in effect.
