Clear‘Fuse/PowerFailure’
Overview: This procedure is used to clear a fuse/power failure by replacing a blown
fuse (lighted) or isolating the power failure to a shelf.
1. Is a fuse lighted (blown) at the top of the bay or at the repeater shelf?
If YES, then continue with Step 2.
If NO, then continue with Step 4.
2. Replace the lighted fuse with a new fuse.

3. Did the fuse blow (light) again?
If YES, then continue with Step 4.
If NO, then STOP! YOU HAVE COMPLETED THIS PROCEDURE.
4. Obtain the appropriate drawing for the bay/shelf part to be replaced (see the
"Related Documentation/Training" part in the "About This Document" section).
For example, the E-Bay user panel (ED-6G994-30, G1) is found on drawing
ED-6G999-30. Another helpful source is 365-575-115,

Shelf Trouble-Clearing Suggestions
• If the shelf has power but the PWR ON LED is off, then replace the
user panel or filter panel.

• If the user panel PWR ON LED or any other LEDs are defective,
replace the user panel.
• If the shelf has no power, check the 1186A power filter boards (or
equivalent) or replace the user panel.
5. STOP! YOU HAVE COMPLETED THIS PROCEDURE.
