Clear ‘Path TCA’, ‘Section TCA’, or ‘Line TCA’
1. This condition indicates that a threshold-crossing alert (TCA) has been issued.
The alert means that the signal degrade threshold has been exceeded.
NOTE:
At the CIT, select FAULT-Retrieve-Alarms (and Status) to obtain the
Active Alarms and Status Report.
2. Referring to the report obtained in Step 1, are there any conditions other than
path TCA, section TCA, or line TCA listed?
If YES, then continue with Step 3.
If NO, then consult and follow local operating procedures for further guid-
ance in addressing this condition.
3. Referring to the report obtained in Step 1, identify the topmost condition other
than the path TCA, section TCA, or line TCA conditions.
4. Find the condition identified in Step 3 in Table A of TAP-102 and go to the indi-
cated TAP to clear that condition.
