5. Installation must include an independent frame ground conductor to
building ground. Grounding/bonding circuit continuity is vital for safe
operation of this equipment. Never operate with grounding/bonding
conductor disconnected.
6. This product has two −48 V DC input power feeders. Disconnecting one
power feeder will not de-energize the product. To reduce the risk of injury,
disconnect both power supply cables when removing power from the
system.
7. Metallic telecommunication interfaces should not leave the building
premises unless connected to telecommunication devices providing
primary and secondary protection, as applicable.
8. For continued protection against risk of fire, replace only with same type
and rating of fuse.
9. Use only Lucent Technologies manufactured, recognized circuit packs.
