NOTE:
When the operating mode of a slot pair changes from 1+1 to 0x1 in the
"from OC-48" and/or the "from OC-3" directions, any DCC assignment to
the slot pair changes to an assignment to the "A" slot and there will be no
assignment to the "B" slot.
NOTE:
When the operating mode of a slot pair changes from 0x1 to 1+1 in the
"from OC-48" and the "from OC-3" direction, any DCC assignment to the
"A" slot changes to an assignment to the slot pair and any assignment to
the "B" slot is deleted.
â– CONFIGURATION-Delete-Assignment-DCC: This input deletes an
OC-3 DCC assignment to a low-speed interface slot or pair of low-speed
interface slots. Deleting an OC-3 DCC assignment disables DCC
communications on the supporting OC-3 line. An OC-3 DCC assignment is
deleted by specifying a low-speed interface slot and a DCC. The low-speed
interface slot may be a single slot in the OC-3 0x1 operating mode, or a
low-speed interface slot in a slot pair (for example, slot 2A and 2B)
operating in the OC-3 1+1 protected mode. The user must specify a single
DCC (channel 1-8).
An input deleting an OC-3 DCC assignment will be denied if one of the
following conditions is present:
— TheTOHCTLslotisintheAUTOstate.
— The TOHCTL circuit pack has been removed.
— The TOHCTL circuit pack has failed.
An input deleting an OC-3 DCC assignment may be denied if an automatic
turnup test is running. During that part of the test cycle when the DCC
connections between the OC3 (1.3 STD) and TOHCTL circuit packs are
being verified, an input deleting an OC-3 DCC assignment will be denied.
If the DCC assignment specified by the input does not exist, the input will
be completed and no DCC assignment is deleted.
â– CONFIGURATION-Retrieve-Assignment-DCC: This input generates a
report showing all the OC-3 DCCs assigned to low-speed interface slots or
low-speed interface slot pairs in the FT-2000 OC-48 Add/Drop-Rings
Terminal. For more information about the DCC Assignment Report, refer to
Volume I, Section 11, "Craft Interface Terminal Usage."
