In releases prior to Release 5.0.2, a PC must meet the following minimum
requirements to be loaded with FT-2000 CIT-PC software and used as a CIT:

Hard disk with approximately 5 megabytes of free space

Serial port (EIA-232-D) configured as COM1, COM2, COM3
,orCOM4
Parallel port configured as LPT1
4.77 MHz clock speed or greater
Monochrome screen monitor Standard-size American Standard Code for
Information Exchange (ASCII) 25 line x 80 column
A PC must meet the following minimum requirements to be loaded with the
CPro-2000 software and used as a CIT:
386SX
IBM
compatible computer (desktop or lap top) (25 MHz clock or
greater)
Disk drive one 1.44 Megabyte (3.5 inch)
Hard disk with approximately 5 Megabytes of free space

No memory resident programs running in the background. 565 Kilobytes of free
conventional memory is required. In Release 7 and later releases 2 megabytes of extended
memory is also required. If less than 565 kilobytes of free conventional memory is
available, a memory manager (for example, HIMEM.SYS with MS-DOS 5.0 and later) is
required to increase the free conventional memory
