Atmospheric Single-Arm Robot Manual
4000-0016 Rev A
iv
About This Book
This manual is intended for PRI Automation/Equipe Division customers
who have purchased an atmospheric single-arm robot, herein referred to
simply as robot. The robot is one component in a robotic system, which
includes an Equipe Smart Controller (ESC) and any of the following
optional items: pre-aligner, laser scanner, or track. In addition, the
robotic system might include one or more customer components.
The example instructions in this manual, therefore, cannot be specific to a
particular system. The intent of this manual is to document how the robot
works. It does not document every possible device in a robotic system.
What’s Not in This Book
This manual documents only the atmospheric single-arm robots. It does
not document vacuum robots or the atmospheric dual-arm robots.
For a complete listing of Equipe commands, refer to the Equipe Software
and Controller Manual, Document Number 4000-0012. This manual
documents the ESC and EDC controllers, Equipe macro language, and
Equipe commands.
For specific information on each component in a robotic system, refer to
the manual for that component:
The Equipe User Interface Manual, Document Number 4000-0017,
documents the Teach Pendant and EQT 32.
The Atmospheric Pre-aligner Manual is Document Number 4000-
0015.
The Atmospheric Dual-Arm Robot Manual is Document Number
4000-0166.
The Linear Track Manual, Document Number 4000-0014, describes
both the Standard Linear Track and the Low-Profile Linear Track.
The Front End Manual is Document Number 4000-0165.
