Facilities Requirements
This section includes the environmental, mechanical, and electrical
requirements your facility must have prior to installing your robot.
Environmental
The robot system is designed for cleanroom environments and conditions.
The robot system is not intended for use in environments of explosive
mixtures, corrosive conditions, high humidity, or dust.
Environmental specifications for operation and storage are as follows:

Temperature
59° to 89° F (15º to 32.5º C) -4° to 104° F (-20º to 40º C)
Relative humidity 10% to 80% Non-condensing 10% to 80% Non-condensing
Motion (earthquake) Refer to installation instructions. Refer to storage and
transportation instructions.
Ventilation Do not block fan vents on the
robot or controller. Maintain at
least 2 in (50.8 mm) of free
space between the fan vents and
any obstruction or surface.
None required.
Handling See installation instructions. See storage and transportation
instructions.
Mechanical
A vacuum robot must be handled from above using a mechanical hoist and
hooks inserted into threaded holes. A recommended hoist system is
described in the chapter on installation.
Electrical
Electrical specifications are as follows:
Operating Specifications Tolerances
100/120 VAC @ 5 amps
220/240 VAC @ 2.5 amps
Voltage: 92 VAC to 260 VAC
Frequency: 46 Hz to 63 Hz
Power cords must comply with HD21 or HD 22 specifications.
