Maintenance and Diagnostics
This section includes step-by-step instructions for performing diagnostics
on the Teach Pendant and with the EQT 32 interface.
Note that the robot has no user serviceable parts and maintenance is
minimal. When maintenance occurs, the equipment is fully de-energized,
which results in a Type 1 task hazard rating.
Shipping and Storage
If you saved the original shipping container and packing material, use it to
pack and secure the robot for storage or if you need to ship the unit.
Environmental requirements for storage are listed on page 33. To ship the
robot or to store it for a long period of time, do as follows:
1. Rotate the robot arm clockwise to the hard stop.
2. With the hard stop as a reference, rotate the robot arm
counterclockwise 90° from the hard stop.
3. Slowly push the robot arm down to its Z-axis hard stop.
4. When packing the robot, move the R-axis to its center overlapping
position. Maintain this position while packing the robot.
5. Use tie-wrap or the original formed foam to secure the robot arm in
this position.
