UPPER RIGHT SPINDLE
Note: Refer to Figures 11-5 and 11-6, above, when performing the upper right
spindle adjustments.
1. At the Home Machine menu, raise the probes:
Touch to Select Explanation/Screen Display
• Measure
Thickness At the Home Machine menu, touch the
"Measure Thickness" button to raise the probes.
Warning: Always confirm that the digital probes are in up position before
moving the bridge to avoid breaking them off!
2. Manually move the bridge to position the upper right spindle over the lower
right spindle:
• Reach inside the sprocket cover and rotate the sprocket clockwise or
counterclockwise as needed to move the bridge and position the upper
spindles.
GOAL: The upper right spindle U-bracket must be aligned over
the inflatable seal surrounding the right work chuck.
3. At the Home Machine menu, lower the probes:
Touch to Select Explanation/Screen Display
• Measure
Thickness At the Home Machine menu, touch the
"Measure Thickness" button to lower the
probes.
