CHAPTER 8 DIAGNOSTICS
8.1 OVERVIEW
The MultiLoad II provides built-in diagnostic tools that enable your technician(s) or electrician(s) to isolate wiring
or hardware problems by performing various tests. The main diagnostic functions available from the Diagnostics
Menu and described in this chapter are:
Card Reader
(Excluding SMP)
Tests the prox card reader.
Tests communication ports to and from the host system (TMS)
Tests network connection to and from the host system (TMS)
Tests the individual keys on the keypad
Reports communication status with the I/O board and FCMs
Reports communication status with PCMs
Reports the number of timeouts and lost communication events with the I/O board and FCMs.
Reports the number of timeouts and lost communication events with PCMs.
View/modify RCU level I/O including the Program and W&M key switch status.
View/modify Bay level I/O.
View/modify Preset level I/O.
View/modify Meter level I/O.
View/modify Component level I/O.
View/modify Additive level I/O.
View/modify Sampler level I/O.
View/modify Tank level I/O.
Tests the custom logic execution.
Displays the current detailed status of the GPS.
These functions are discussed in the order they appear on the Diagnostics menu.
