Lights and Signals 9980 Self-Propelled Peanut Combine
Turn Signals
Whenever you operate the combine on a road
or highway, use the turn signal lever to
indicate turns.
With the turn signal lever ON (in hazard or
road position), the warning lights operate at 60
flashes per minute. When the turn signal is
set for a right-hand turn, the right-hand
warning light flashes 85 flashes per minute
while the left-
hand light stays on (not flashing).
The opposite happens for a left-hand turn.
NOTE! The turn signals operate when the
key switch is ON and the field light switch
is OFF. If the field light switch is ON, the
turn signal lever operates the side finder
lights.
Turn signals are not self-canceling, so the
lever must be moved back to the neutral
position to turn the signal off.
