Replace Engine Accessory/Fan
Belt
1. Loosen the nut as shown in the top sketch
(A)
2. Remove the
engine side rotary screen
drive belt shown in the top sketch (B).
3.
Use a breaker bar to relieve the belt
tension from the tensioner arm
shown in
the middle sketch (C).
4. Remove the accessory/fan belt
shown in
the middle sketch (D)
, working the belt
over the fan blades (E) to remove.
5. Install the
new accessory/fan belt by first
working it over the fan blades, and then
routing it as shown in the sketch.
CAUTION
ALWAYS shut off engine, set the parking
brake, and remove the key before
performing maintenance.
