9980 Self-Propelled Peanut Combine Electrical System Service
The system wakeup power fuse (A) is located
behind the operator’s seat along the rear wall.
Wakeup power is used to turn on control units
when the key switch is in the RUN position. It
keeps electrical power connected to the
controllers after the key switch is turned OFF.
This also controls exit lighting and allows
each
controller to save the operating
information into memory.
A – 5 AMP Fuse (F62)
The glow plug fuse (A) is located by the
alternator. This f
use provides protection for
glow plugs in case of overload. If the fuse is
blown, inspect the wiring harness on the glow
plug power circuit for possible damage before
replacing the
fuse. Replace any damaged
wiring before operating the machine.
A – 50 AMP Fuse (F61)
IMPORTANT! Do NOT replace the
original fuse with a higher fuse or
mechanical damage may occur. If the
original size fuse will not carry the
electrical load and continues to blow, have
the
electrical system checked by your
AMADAS/John Deere dealer.
