9980 Self-Propelled Peanut Combine Electrical System Service
Removing and Installing
1. Disconnect negative (-
) cable from
batteries and negative jump start post.
2. Disconnect positive (+) cable and positive
jump start post.
3. Remove clamp and battery vent tubes.
4. Clean
batteries and battery mounting
area.
5.
Install batteries in battery box and on
plastic tray.
6.
Clean battery cables and posts and
reconnect battery vent tubes.
7. Loosely install clamp.
8. Attach positive (+) cable and positive jump
start post.
9. Attach negative (-
) cable and negative
jump start post.
10. Tighten battery clamp.
