Allow the engine to cool and open the access
door. Make sure the coolant level is at the
FULL COLD mark on the surge tank.
IMPORTANT! A special radiator cap is
used on 6.8 L engines. If the radiator cap
is damaged or is missing, it must be
replaced by an equivalent radiator cap.
