Header Height Control
The header height control switch allows you to
select the position of the header relative to the
ground and return to that position
automatically. It controls the set
point for
Header Height R
esume and Header Height
Sensing. See the sections “
Header Height
Resume” and “Header Height Sensing” in
Chapter 5, CommandTouch Cornerpost.
Turn the dial towards the plus sign (+) to raise
the header and set point, or towards (-
) to
lower the header and set point.
Road Transport Disconnect
The road transport disconnect switch must be
in road position when you transport the
machine on the roadway.
When the road transport disconnect switch is
pressed, the indicator light turns ON, showing
the switch is in road position. When on, the
road transport switch pre
vents the following
functions:
• Header height resume
• Header height sensing
• Unloading conveyor
• Header raise/lower
• Separator engage
• Header engage
• Basket raise/lower
After the machine is transported and you are
ready for field operations, press the road
transport disconnect switch and hold for two
seconds
, until the indicator light turns OFF.
The above functions will be operational
again.
NOTE! The machine will not enter road
mode if the separator is engaged. A
warning alarm screen will appear
indicating the separator is engaged. Shut
the separator OFF to engage the road
transport switch.
