9980 Self-Propelled Peanut Combine Electrical System Service
The starter is located on the left back side of
the engine. If it fails to operate or operates
sluggishly, the cause may not be in the starter
but in one of the following:
•
Loose, dirty, broken, or corroded cables
and wires
• Low battery output
• Rundown batteries
• Crankcase oil of wrong viscosity.
If these checks do not correct the problem,
see your AMADAS/John Deere dealer.
Alternator and Voltage
Regulator

the regulator.
