Multifunction Control
Handle Linkage
If machine moves when the multifunction
control handle is
in neutral position, then
adjust as follows:
1.
Place the multifunction control handle in
neutral position.
2. Remove the ball joint nut (A) from pump
arm (B) (ensure the pump arm is in
neutral (spring loaded detent)).
3. Loosen the jam nut and turn ball joint (C),
until the ball joint stud passes freely into
the arm hole. Do NOT move the arm from
neutral position. Use the inside hole for
105cc/rev pump.
If the adjustment at the ball joint (fine thread
end) is not adequate, more adjustment
(coarse thread end) is
available using the
cable bulkhead jam nuts (D). Be certain
adequate thread remains in the ball joint and
all hardware is tightened.
If movement still occurs after you make the
adjustments, see your AMADAS/John Deere
dealer.
CAUTION
The c
ontrol cable is designed and
assembled to be non-repairable. Do NOT
attempt to modify or repair the cable;
replace if damaged.
Do NOT adjust or install the control cable
with the engine running, as the machine
may move. Shut OFF the engine, set
parking brake and remove key.
