9980 Self-Propelled Peanut Combine Lights and Signals
Stop lights on the machine come on when the
combine senses a deceleration greater than
3.2 km/h (2 mph
). The lights stay on for a
minimum of 2 seconds and/or as long as
deceleration exceeds 3.2 km/h (2 mph).
Once the speed is less than 1.6 km/h (1 mph),
the stop lights stay on for 2 minutes or until
forward acceleration is sensed and the speed
is greater than 1.5 km/h (1 mph).
These lights also act as turn indicators and will
illuminate when a turn is signaled. The light in
the direction
of the turn flashes, while the
opposite light stays on without flashing. If a
turn is signaled while the machine is
decelerating, the turn indicator function has
priority over the stop light function.
