Lubrication Schedule
It is important that you follow the maintenance
and lubrication schedule to ensure
safe and
efficient performance from your combine.
Beginning on the next page, items on the
schedule are described in more detail.
8 Hours or Daily
• Check engine oil level.
• Check coolant level.
• Lube separator drive shaft U-joints.
• Lube separator slip clutch.
• Clean air conditioning drain hose.
• Lube final drive outer bearings (for
operation in mud and water).
• Lube rear wheel hubs (for operation in mud
and water).
• Check hydraulic reservoir level (10 hours).
50 Hours or Weekly
• Clean cab fresh air filter.
• Check drive belt tension.
• Check primary jackshaft gear case oil
level.
• Lube gear case output shaft.
• Lube chains.
• Lube rear axle spindle.
• Lube 4WD motor pivots and bearings.
• Check fuel system water separator for
water.
• Clean radiator.
• Clean charge air cooler.
• Clean oil cooler.
• Clean condenser core.
• Check PTO gear case oil level.
• Check engine gear case oil level.
200 Hours
• Clean cab recirculation filter.
• Check air conditioner sight glass for
bubbles.
• Lube rear axle pivot (2 places).
• Change engine oil and filter.
400 Hours or Yearly
• Change hydraulic/hydrostatic filter.
• Check brake fluid level.
• Check final drive oil levels.
• Lube PTO gearbox.
• Lube primary jackshaft gearcase.
• Lube rear wheel hub bearings.
• Lube steering cylinder rod ends (4 places).
• Lube feeder house pivots.
• Lube U-joints slip spline.
• Lube final drive outer bearing.
• Lube engine fan hub.
• Change hydro charge filter.
• Change engine PTO gear case filter.
• Clean and fill batteries.
• Check transmission oil level.
800 Hours or Every Two Years
• Replace engine coolant.
2000 Hours
• Replace engine gear case oil.
• Replace hydraulic/hydrostatic oil.
• Replace final drive oil.
• Replace transmission oil.
• Check engine valve lash.
• Replace primary jackshaft gear case oil.
Service as Required
• Change fuel filter.
• Change engine air filter.
• Change cab air filter.
• Check and clean batteries.
