9980 Self-Propelled Peanut Combine Unloading Conveyor
Check conveyor tracking by having the
operator engage the unloading button (the
conveyor must be completely swung out for
this to happen). Observe the tracking of belt
at both the head and pulley. The conveyor
belt should be running centered to pulleys. A
deviation of +/- 1/2" is the allowable limit.
To adjust the tracking:
1. Use the tracking rod located at the
outboard side of the tail pulley at the lower
end of conveyor.
2. Extend the rod to push the belt away from
that side and shorten the
closer.
3. If the adjustment is not enough to correct,
it may be necessary to use the tension
rods at the upper end of the conveyor.
