9980 Self-Propelled Peanut Combine Transportation
9. Travel at a safe and reasonable speed, not
to exceed 8km/h (5 MPH).
Secure the chain to the rear tow hook to pull
out the machine. Do NOT use this hook for
pulling a trailor.
IMPORTANT! Do NOT exceed 8 km/hr (5
MPH) as the transmission pump is not in
use and exceeding this speed could
damage the transmission.
Follow safe driving guidelines to prevent
collisions between other road users, slow
moving tractors with attachments or towed
equipment, and self-
propelled machines
on public roads. Frequently check for
traffic from the rear, especially in turns,
and use hand or turn signals.
Use headlights, flashing warning lights,
and turn signals day and night. Follow
local regulations for equipment lighting and
marking. Keep lighting and marking visible
and in good working order. Replace or
repair lighting and marking that has been
damaged or lost.
ALWAYS use a suitable chain. Do NOT
exceed the breaking strength. Do NOT
mix the chain with tow straps or ropes.
The energy stored in the towing device
could cause serious bodily injury if it
should break.
