9980 Self-Propelled Peanut Combine Electrical System Service
Replacing Xenon Lights
High intensity discharge (HID) xenon lights
are located in the second and fifth cab light
panel holes (top photo).
1.
Rotate light assembly upward and
disconnect wiring harness (middle photo).
2.
Push in and rotate retainer
counterclockwise (bottom photo).
3. Push in and rotate bulb assembly counter
clockwise (bottom photo).
4. Remove and replace bulb.
5. Install bulb and retain
er in reverse order
and connect wiring harness.

CAUTION
Avoid
serious injury or death from
electrical shock or lamp explosion. This
lamp is powered by 25,000 volts. Do NOT
begin installation of HID-
Xenon lights
unless lights are turned OFF, engine is
shut OFF, parking brake is set, key is
removed and appropriate eye protection is
worn.
If HID-
Xenon lights were previously
operated, wait a minimum of five minutes
before servicing bulb.
