Temperature Control
The CLIMATRAK control system consists of
temperature control dial, mode selector, fan
control speed dial (top photo) and the
temperature sensor (middle photo).
Mode Selector:
This switch functions as
follows (see sketch):
In the OFF position, all power to the
CLIMATRAK system is off.
In the ON position, power is supplied for
normal functions.
In the DEFOG position, power is
supplied to the compressor regardless of
the set temperature. This helps remove
moisture from the air, even in heat
mode.
Temperature Control:
This dial controls air
temperature. Turn it clockwise to increase
the temperature or counterclockwise to
decrease the temperature.
Fan Speed Control Dial:
This dial controls
the
recirculation fan, which controls the
amount of air coming out of the louvers. It
functions as follows:
Turn the dial clockwise to allow more air
or counterclockwise for less air.
The dial has a detent position, marked
AUTO, for automatic speed setting. In
this position, fan speed is determined by
the difference between the selected
temperature and the actual cab
temperature. As the temperature
approaches the set point, the fan speed
decreases.
