71 -Maintenance Procedures
Put the blue isolation of the inline
crimp (Part Number D-436-37) over
the single wire of the repair kit
cable.
Put the splice crimp at the end of
the single wire of the repair kit
cable.
Connect the crimp with the repair
kit cable. Use the crimp tool Mil
Standard Part Number:
M22520/37-01.
Connect the repair kit cable and
the remaining engine harness.
Use the crimp tool Mil Standard
Part Number: M22520/37-01.
Put the isolation sleeve of the inline
crimp D-436-37 directly over the
splice crimp.
Apply heat to the inline crimp
isolation until it seals the inline
crimp barrel and the single wires.
Use a hot air gun (300°C – 350°C).
Put the green Roundit 2000NX5-5
from the repair kit over the inline
crimp and the black expando of the
repair kit cable, if necessary.
Do not do this step if the green
Roundit of the remaining harness is
