From microSD Card to Scanner
Application code load to scanner
By AUTORUN.DLS file
1. Generate a text file by any text editor as follows and save it as AUTO-
RUN.DLS

LOADSW,R96-APP1.BIN

2. Step 2: Save or copy file AUTORUN.DLS to microSD card and copy the
application code (example
R96-APP1.BIN) to the microSD card.
3. Insert the microSD card into the scanner.
4. Upon scanner audio indication of completion, the application code R96-
APP1.BIN
is loaded to the scanner. Typically, this takes about 45 seconds.
Configuration load to scanner
By Autorun file
1. Generate a text file by any text editor as follows and save it as AUTO-
RUN.DLS
$START$
CONFIG,R96-CFG1.TEX
$END$
2. Save or copy the autorun.dls file, and copy the CPLD code (example R96-
CFG1.TEX
) to the microSD card.
3. Insert the microSD card into the scanner.
4. Upon scanner audio indication of completion, configuration R96-
CFG1.TEX
is loaded to the scanner.
