Staple Jams in the Staple Cartridge (For C Finisher / C Booklet Finisher)
The following describes how to clear staple jams in the staple cartridge when the C
Finisher or C Booklet Finisher (optional) is installed.
This section explains how to remove jammed staples from the C Booklet Finisher. Use
the same procedures for the C Finisher.
1 Make sure that the machine has
stopped, and open the front cover
of the finisher.
2 Grip the lever R1 of the staple
cartridge holder, and pull out the
holder to the right towards you.
3 Take out the staple cartridge holder
by gripping the orange lever.
Note • The staple cartridge is firmly
inserted. When taking the
staple cartridge out of the
machine, strongly pull it out.
4 After taking the staple cartridge
out, check inside of the finisher for
any remaining staples.
5 Pull up the metal part of the staple
cartridge shown in the figure.
