In Figure 1, the topology is a five node ring with two DRIs protecting each other at
node 0 and at node 2. Each node has a drop cross-connection from the West
direction on time slot 6. In addition, node 1, node 3, and node 4 have a through
(continue) cross-connection. TID rule A applies to all source nodes and secondary
nodes. TID rule B applies to all destination nodes.
