Clear Trouble When ‘ABN’ LED Is Lighted
Overview: This procedure is used to clear one of the following conditions:
DS3 loopback LS loopback
EC1 loopback LS manual switch
inhibit alarms-office alarms non-preemptible protn access
inhibit alarms-parallel telem OC3 forced switch at far end
inhibit alarms-X.25 OC3 forced switch at near end
line forced switch OC3 inhibit switch at near end
line forced switch at far end OC3 lockout at far end
line forced switch at near end OC3 lockout at near end
line lockout OC3 loopback (from OC3)
line lockout at far end OC3 loopback (from OC48)
line lockout at near end preemptible protn access
line manual switch sync mode equipment conflict
line manual switch at far end sync mode forced switch
line manual switch at near end sync reference forced switch
line switch inhibit sync reference lockout
line switch inhibit - far end sync reference manual switch
line switch inhibit - near end TG manual switch
logins inhibited test alarm in progress
LS forced switch test auto turnup in progress
LS lockout test telemetry in progress
OC12 forced switch at far end OC12 forced switch at near end
OC12 lockout at far end OC12 inhibit at near end
OC12 loopback (from OC48) OC12 lockout inhibit at near end.
NOTE:
The indicated condition was initiated by a user command. You must determine,
by consulting with the appropriate maintenance personnel, whether the need for
the user-initiated condition still exists before proceeding.
1. Does the need for the user initiated condition still exist?
If YES, then continue with Step 2.
If NO, then continue with Step 3.
