Clear ‘CPYPGM:IP (tid)’
NOTE:
This condition means that software (Release 5.0 and later) is being copied from
this FT-2000 network element to the FT-2000 network element whose target
identification (TID) appears in the message.
NOTE:
The software download is performed in the background (approximately 1 hour)
and is from one SYSMEM circuit pack to another SYSMEM circuit pack. Up to
15 downloads can occur simultaneously. See the Software Release Description
Known Problems section for limitations on simultaneous downloads with some
software releases. The first known limitation was with Release 7. The limit is 8
simultaneous copies.
NOTE:
You cannot cancel the background download once it is initiated.
1. If desired, you may perform other CIT-PC activities during this time, for exam-
ple, checking the status of the download [use the CONFIGURA-
TION-Retrieve-Alarm (and Status) command].
If an error message appears on the screen during the background down-
load, reinitiate the software download per Operation: NTP-005.
2. STOP! YOU HAVE COMPLETED THIS PROCEDURE.
