8. Is LOCAL or REMOTE displayed in the upper right-hand corner of the CIT
screen or are you currently displaying DDM-2000 screen?
If LOCAL, then continue with Step 9.
If REMOTE, then continue with Step 10.
If DDM-2000, then continue with Step 13.
9. You should be logged in to the remote network element. If the remote is an
FT-2000, REMOTE will be displayed in the upper right-hand corner.

NOTE:
If LOGOUT is selected while connected to the remote FT-2000, the remote
connection is dropped, but the CIT continues to operate with the local FT-2000
NE. If LOGOUT is selected at the local FT-2000 NE, both the remote and local
connections are dropped.
Are you now remotely logged in to an FT-2000 NE or a DDM-2000 NE?
If FT-2000, then continue with Step 11.
If DDM-2000, then continue with Step 13.
11. Press F4 function key, labeled LOGOUT, to log out of the remote FT-2000. The
CIT is still logged into the local FT-2000 NE.
12. STOP! YOU HAVE COMPLETED THIS PROCEDURE.
13. Enter lo; at the DDM-2000 prompt. This will log you out of the DDM-2000 NE
and return you to LOCAL ONLY mode on the FT-2000 NE.
14. STOP! YOU HAVE COMPLETED THIS PROCEDURE.
