NOTE:
For FT-2000 only. If your login on the local network is also a valid login on
the remote network element, you will be logged in automatically.
Otherwise, you must log in at this time.
NOTE:
For DDM-2000 only. A small box will be displayed on your terminal monitor
after a successful login. Please note the software version listed in the box
for possible use at a later time.
If necessary, enter the login and password for the remote FT-2000 or
DDM-2000 NE. If unable to log in to the network element, check your login
and password with the office records and/or supervisor.
6.
NOTE:
If remotely logged in to an FT-2000, REMOTE is now displayed in the upper
right-hand corner.
NOTE:
The remote FT-2000 or DDM-2000 NE will now respond to any inputs from
the CIT just as if you were physically connected to it.
NOTE:
If you have remotely logged in to an FT-2000, then F2 is now labeled
LOCAL and acts as a toggle back to the local FT-2000. If you have
remotely logged in to a DDM-2000, then <control> T allows you to toggle
back to the local network element and F2 on the FT-2000 screen allows you
to toggle back to the DDM-2000.
