9. At the CIT, select the CONFIGURATION-Set-Path-Trace command to set
the expected Rcv Path Trace for all STS-1 paths to be provisioned that
terminate at this network element. (To continue with the same example as in
Step 5, the Rcv Path Trace must be "transmitting from node 3 at Boston.")
NOTE:
The path trace string may be up to 64-characters long. Additional
information is in Section 8, "Administration and Provisioning" or by
pressing ? (help).
10. Repeat Step 9 for any additional STS-1 paths to be provisioned.
11. Discontinue the login at the destination network element. (To discontinue a
remote login, refer to DLP-524.)
12. Verify the provisioning just done by using the CONFIGURATION-Retrieve-
Path-Trace command.

13. This step is optional. If you desire to clear the path trace fields (fields set to all
nulls), enter spaces (nothing else) in place of the characters in the PrvTx and
the PrvRx fields.
