First Step: Determine the Bay Type
Determine which type of bay has the fuse/power failure alarm. An equipment
package code, such as J68974E, appears on the Fuse Panel at the top of the
bay. The last letter of this code indicates the bay type.
If it is an A-Bay, E-Bay,orR-Bay then go to “Option 1: Replace the
Capacitors of a Power Filter Assembly” on page 4.
If it is a D-Bay then go to “Option 3: Replace a Power Line Filter Mod-
ule” on page 12.

The Fuse Panels of other bay types look very similar, except for the wording on
the bay type label.
