The FT-2000 OC-48 Repeater Bay is available in the following equipment
packages:
■ FT-2000 OC-48 Repeater Bay: The FT-2000 OC-48 Repeater Bay
(Figure 3-17) consists of the J68974R FT-2000 OC-48 Repeater Bay and
Release 2.1.0-RPTR*, Release 4.0.0-RPTR, or Release 6.0.0-RPTR
software.
The J68974R FT-2000 OC-48 Repeater Bay consists of a power
distribution and fuse panel, up to three Repeater Shelf — System
Controllers, and a PC tray mounted in a single seismic network bay
framework.
This equipment package supports up to six OC-48 high-speed lines.
■ FT-2000 OC-48 Repeater Shelf: The FT-2000 OC-48 Repeater Shelf
(Figure 3-18) consists of a miscellaneously mounted shelf arrangement
and Release 2.1.0-RPTR*, Release 4.0.0-RPTR, or Release 6.0.0-RPTR
software.
This shelf arrangement consists of one Repeater Shelf — System
Controller, a PC tray, and a user panel equipped with two 10-amp fuses.
(Power fusing is performed on the shelf level.) It is possible to mount the
FT-2000 OC-48 Repeater Shelf in several types of network bay
frameworks and certain
ESS

switch frameworks. This shelf arrangement
may be used in existing bays where space is limited or in cross route
locations.
This equipment package supports two OC-48 high-speed lines.
