Maintenance Description
9-28 Issue 8.0 July 2002
reset in progress The FT-2000 network element is in progress
of downloading its software from SYSMEM
to SYSCTL, to LNCTLs, to OHCTLs, and to
all other circuit pack board controllers.
Likely cause: Reset or Initialize-System
has been executed.
ring incomplete/open The designated DS-NE network element is
unable to create a complete ring map
because of a controller or transmission
failureintheOC-48ring.
ring startup in progress This is normally a transient condition that
indicates the ring network is starting up.
section TCA A threshold crossing alert (TCA) has been
issued. The alert means the signal degrade
threshold has been exceeded.
site provisioning conflict Two network elements in a network are
provisioned as "Site 0." One and only one
FT-2000 terminal in a network must be
provisioned to be "Site 0."
software download in progress A software download from the PC-CIT to the
SYSMEM is currently in progress.
STS1 squelch map conflict The controller circuits are unable to
associate any network element's target
identifier (TID) with the value supplied for a
source or destination node of an STS-1
cross-connection.
STS1E INTFC failure Failure of STS1E circuit pack.
STS1E INTFC removed STS1E circuit pack is missing from slot.
STS1 squelch map inconsistent The intermediate source/destination node
TIDs are incorrect for the circuit.
STS3 squelch map conflict The controller circuits are unable to
associate any network element's target
identifier (TID) with the value supplied for a
source or destination node of an STS-3
cross-connection.
STS3 squelch map inconsistent The intermediate source/destination node
TIDs are incorrect for the circuit.
squelch map conflict The controller circuits are unable to
associate any network element's target
identifier (TID) with the value supplied for a
source or destination node of a
cross-connection.
