■ Expanded reporting for up to 32 Network/Subnetwork elements
Release 7.2 updates the FT-2000 OC-48 Add/Drop-Rings Terminal platform with
the following new features:
■ New Low Speed Shelf/User Panel/Interconnection Panel
■ Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM)—OLS-compatible
transmitters (739E1-739E16 and 739G1-G16) and receiver (839E5)
■ OC12 1+1 transmission with DCC
■ STS-1 Non-Preemptible Protection Access (NPPA) with B5 optics
■ STS-3 Non-Preemptible Protection Access (NPPA) with all optics
■ Operations Interworking (OI) via the DCC channel for OC-12 1+1 protected
links
■ Synchronization messaging: line timing and auto reconfiguration
■ Deny enhancements for Delete command
■ Switch on Line Signal Fail for DRI
■ DRI switching on Signal Degrade
NOTE:
Release 7.2 is not OI compatible with Release 9.0 or greater.
Release 7.2.8 and Release 7.2.10 maintain/enhance existing features.
