Environmental
Requirements
The environment where the Information Center system will be used should be reasonably free
from vibration, dust, and corrosive or explosive gases. The ranges of ambient operating
conditions -- temperature and relative humidity (RH) -- and the maximum heat dissipated for the
Information Center installations shown in Figure 4-9 are given in the following table. To
determine similar specifications for Information Center installations different from those in
Figure 4-9, consult Table 4-4 and/or the documentation for the units that comprise the system.
Caution If the environmental specifications of the Information Center system are not met, damage
may be caused to the equipment.
