BASIC OPERATION
SUMMARY
The list below is a summary of the procedures needed to start up the 7AF and
complete an automatic grind cycle. The sections following provide detailed steps or
appropriate references for each.
1. Power Up.
2. Home the Machine.
3. Check the Utility Readings.
4. Reference the Chucks.
Note: Referencing the chucks automatically references the probes at the same
time.
5. Run an Automatic Grind Cycle.
PROBLEMS AND ERROR MESSAGES
For resolution of problems and error messages encountered during machine power up
and operation, refer to the Troubleshooting chapter of this manual.
