TRUING AND DRESSING THE GRIND WHEELS
AND WORK CHUCKS
Assumptions
The procedures below were written with the assumptions that:
1. The operator has powered up the machine, homed the machine,
checked the utilities, and referenced the chucks, per the procedures,
above, in this chapter.
2. The operator has obtained the truing and dressing recipe name(s) and
process parameters from the process supervisor.
Tools Required
• 220 Grit Dressing Disc (For truing or dressing the coarse wheel.)
• Fujimi Dressing Board (For truing or dressing the fine wheel.)
