MEASURING THE THICKNESS OF AN ITEM ON THE WORK CHUCK
To measure the thickness on an item placed on a work chuck, follow the steps below:
1. Follow the procedures found in the Referencing the Probes section,
immediately above, to reference the probes.
2. Place the item to be measured on the work chuck:
a. Open the operator access door.
b. Place the item to be measured in the center of the left work chuck.
c. Close the operator access door.
3. At the Home Machine menu, lower the probes:
You Touch to Select Explanation/Screen Display
a. Quit If needed, touch the "Quit" button to return to
the Main Menu.

b. Home Machine At the Main Menu screen, touch the "Home
Machine" button to select the Home Machine
menu.
Displays:
Home menu
c. Reference Probes At the Home Machine menu, touch the
"Reference Probes" button to display the
Reference Probes submenu.
