ADJUST BOTH FRINGE PLATES
Left Spindle Fringe Plate
1. Manually move the bridge by rotating the bridge sprocket until the upper left
spindle is centered over the lower left spindle and the upper right spindle is
centered over the lower right spindle.
CAUTION: Always confirm that the digital probes are in up position before
moving the bridge to avoid breaking them off!
2. Demount the left digital probe and remount it to the upper left spindle:
a. Using a 5/32-in. hex key, remove the two 10-32 x 1 1/2 socket head
capscrews securing the left probe to its mounting arm by rotating them
counterclockwise.
Lift the probe off its mounting arm.
b. Gently pull a few inches of the probe's black power cable and vacuum tube
up through the support arm.
c. Using a 5/32-in. hex key and the probe's two socket head capscrews,
mount the probe to the probe fixture included in the fringe tool kit by
rotating the capscrews clockwise.
