INSTALLATION
OVERVIEW
The Model 7AF Wafer Grinder consists of two machine cabinet sections, grinding and
wafer handling, bolted together at the right side of the machine and hinged at the left.
The machine sections separate, and the handling section rolls away from the grinding
section to provide internal access to both sections for adjustments and maintenance.
During the installation, leveling, and initial adjustment processes, the procedures for
disconnecting and reconnecting the machine sections (and the internal utility
connections) may need to be performed more than once.
