USING THE MACHINE SETUP ENTRY MENU - AN EXAMPLE
Before you begin:
Variable values can be changed only by using the control computer keyboard supplied
with the 7AF to enter new values.
• Before beginning the procedure shown below for entering a new calibration value,
refer to the Physical Description chapter of this manual for information on
attaching the keyboard.
To display a variable value:
Operator Action Explanation/Screen Display
1. Scroll Bar At the Machine Setup Entry menu, touch the scroll
bar on the "Variable Label List" box to scroll down
to display the desired variable (for example, "LT
Chuck Condition rpm").
2. LT Chuck
Condition rpm Touch the desired variable label to select it (for
example, "LT Chuck Condition rpm").
The Variable Number box now displays the number for the selected variable
(for example, 62).
The Variable Label box now displays the label of the selected variable (for
example, "LT Chuck Condition rpm").
The Present Value box now displays the present value of the selected variable
(for example, 60.000).
